What backups are available with Portknox?

Portknox Backup

Portknox backups are available in two variants:

Cloud without data backup (activated by default for every customer).

The most important data - the config file and the database export (contains calendar / contacts ...) - are backed up every night and transferred to a backup server. The backup server is equipped with a RAID, the data is kept for one week.

Cloud with data backup (paid addon)

In addition to the backups mentioned above, your files are also backed up, i.e. all files that are uploaded via sync or upload. Your data is stored for a week and updated every night.

Portknox Disaster Recovery

In addition, each cloud includes Portknox Disaster Recovery, which allows you to set up another independent backup.

What do I need to do to get a restore of my data?

This is easy, just send us a restore request via our support form. Important for us is the date you want to restore and your cloud name. We will then get back to you with further details and the time of the restore.
